Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023, all student assessment logs, question generation queries, and evaluation scores are processed lawfully with user consent and stored exclusively inside cloud datacenters located in India (AWS Mumbai ap-south-1).

2. Processing & Protection of Assessment Data

Pariksha AI handles all assessment artifacts strictly to deliver examination and evaluation services:

• Syllabus & Document Notes: Uploaded PDF/DOCX files and text notes are converted to vector embeddings and stored securely with AES-256 encryption inside Indian servers.
• Generated Question Packages: Question banks, rubrics, and answer keys generated via AI remain the property of the creator/institution and can be edited, exported, or erased upon request.
• Student Test Attempt Metrics: Student answer submissions, time-to-complete logs, and evaluation metrics are recorded strictly to issue scorecards and maintain academic audit records.
• Zero Third-Party Training: Neither uploaded assessment materials nor student response logs are ever used to train public third-party AI models.
